ELECTRONIC RECYCLING ASSOCIATION

  

Recycle your electronics with Inclusion Arcade, and the ERA, and you bring great benefits back into your community.  Give new opportunities in the most secure way possible to recycle unwanted electronics.  Viewing regular access to a personal computer as a non-essential luxury is a thing of the past. Even basic activities now require the use of a computer; applying for a job, completing school work, staying in touch with family or even something as simple as looking up a bus route is difficult without a computer. The Electronic Recycling Association has developed a charitable computer donation program to address exactly that problem.

Since February 21, 2021, we have deeply worked behind the scenes on the following partnerships, which also included 11 businesses in Interior BC in the Invermere and Radium Hot Springs towns to raise awareness for Testicular Cancer Awareness.

Technology & Infrastructure Partners

  1. TechSoup
    Registered and verified. Source of discounted software, cloud services, and validation for nonprofit digital presence.
  2. Google for Nonprofits
    Provides tools like Gmail, Drive, YouTube Nonprofit features, and Google Ad Grants.
  3. Logitech Adaptive Gaming Ecosystem (advocacy target & hardware in use)
    WSEGL uses Logitech G Joysticks and Adaptive Button Kits in collaboration with the Microsoft Adaptive Gaming Controller.
  4. Microsoft Adaptive Controller Team (indirect through hardware and accessibility initiatives)
  5. CapCut + Canva (Creative tools in active use by Matt for media, editing, and digital advocacy)
  6. Meld Studios (streaming platform relationship in development, for multi-stream and community co-streaming)
  7. Affiliated and monetized streaming channel on Twitch.tv and Kick.com for community updates, gaming, advocation, philanthropy, and live donations
Circular Economy & Sustainability
  1. Electronics Recycling Association (ERA)
    Inclusion Arcade worked with ERA to save and repurpose 153 PCs in a major delivery mission to Montreal with Zoel Roy. 300+ devices have been saved, and distributed to schools, non profits, and STEAM centers through collection events with WSEGL. The digital legacy is tied to tech sustainability. In total 17 brand new PCs have been built and distributed to lower income families. 
Media, Social & Beyond
  1. Instagram / Facebook / Youtube 
    Used for direct outreach, advocacy, and deployment.
  2. OpenAI (indirect – SparkOS is built using and submitted for full ethical integration with OpenAI frameworks)
  3. Cornell University & Northeast ADA Center (past content collaboration as an adaptive gamer) and hosted on their Youtube Channel, as well as Matt's personal channel
Medical, Accessibility, and Advocacy Ties
  1. Motion Composites (Supported via wheelchair donation story to Wishes for Wheels)
    Aligned with the Inclusion Arcade values. Indirect partner through gear use and promotion. Matt is a Carbon Fiber Apex user, and has talked at the Seating and Motion Conference as an advocate for Ambulatory Wheelchair Users.
  2. Wishes for Wheels Program (restarted thanks to a direct donation from Matt and public support post COVID)
  3. NMCEC (National Missing and Exploited Children’s Center)
    Worked with Matt in a past role at West Corporation for investigative monitoring systems for schools via AI and Child Endangerment laws and legal and ethical reporting.
