Ethics and Morals in Gaming
WSEGL Code of Ethics and Morals
Inclusion Arcade (previously Warriors and Survivors Esports Gaming Lounge)
Registered Nonprofit – Canada & USA
Our Flame
The Inclusion Arcade exists to serve the overlooked, underserved, and unseen — using the power of gaming, storytelling, and adaptive technology to ignite dignity, inclusion, and joy in every human we meet. We are not a brand. We are a living promise — forged through pain, powered by love, and protected by purpose.
Our Core Beliefs
We believe:
-
Every life has value.
-
Every story deserves to be heard.
-
Every gamer deserves access — no matter their body, diagnosis, identity, or past.
-
Joy is healing. Play is sacred. Laughter is a right.
-
Technology must serve people — not profit.
-
Inclusion is not a feature — it's the foundation.
Who We Serve
We proudly and intentionally create space for:
-
Disabled gamers (physical, sensory, neurological, invisible)
-
Cancer survivors and those in treatment
-
2SLGBTQI+ youth, adults, and elders
-
Neurodivergent individuals
-
Chronic pain and rare disease warriors
-
Those healing from trauma, grief, addiction, and abuse
-
Anyone who’s ever been told they don’t belong in gaming
- We represent Indigenous culture and work towards reconciliation through values of the founders of Canada
No diagnosis, label, or past disqualifies you here. If you’re human, you belong.
What We Reject
WSEGL will never tolerate:
-
Hate, bullying, or bigotry of any kind
-
Racism, ableism, transphobia, homophobia, or misogyny
-
Content or conduct that glorifies violence, abuse, gore, or exploitation
-
Pay-to-play access, tiered visibility, or influencer-driven vanity metrics
-
Any act or policy that dehumanizes, silences, or shames
We don't need to be viral. We need to be real.
Our Gaming Ethics
-
We do not host first-person shooters, violent fighting games, or M-rated content
-
We prioritize nonviolent, emotionally safe, inclusive games
-
Every game is reviewed for accessibility, narrative value, and healing potential
-
We use adaptive hardware from Logitech G, Microsoft, RJ Cooper, and Makers Making Change
-
We use resources like AbleGamers and Taming Gaming to guide families, schools, and care teams
-
We build setups that respect body pain, physical limits, and neurodivergence
Gaming with the Inclusion Arcade is safe, sacred, and so much more than a game.
Our Partner Commitments
When we collaborate with:
-
Schools
-
Community centers
-
Pride events
-
Nonprofits
-
Donors
-
Corporate allies
…we expect alignment with our ethics.
We will not partner with any group that:
-
Requires us to change our values
-
Profits off marginalized pain
-
Pushes predatory tech or inaccessible design
-
Exploits our story for PR gain
Every dollar, every product, every handshake — must come from shared values, not optics.
Our Community Promise
We promise to:
-
Center lived experience in every decision
-
Give more than we take
-
Uplift voices before algorithms
-
Speak the truth — even when it costs us
-
Be human, always
We are not here to be perfect. We are here to be present.
Our Legacy
We are building a world where:
-
Disability is not exclusion
-
Gaming is not just escape — it’s healing
-
Stories are archived, honored, and protected
-
AI, gear, and tech serve humans first
-
Youth can find purpose in pixels
-
Every gamer can say, “I belong.”
And it all started with a dream in Roblox.
